Cakes by Ade

Wedding Cakes:

 

• A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit equal to 50% of the total cost of the order is required to secure the booking.  No booking will be confirmed without payment of the deposit.

• The balance of payment will be due no less than 4 weeks prior to the wedding date.

• Any changes to the wedding cake design will incur additional costs.  No amendments to the order can be made within 4 weeks from the date of the wedding, although we will try to accommodate all situations.

• The order cannot be cancelled within 4 weeks of the wedding date.  If the order is no longer required within this period, any payments outstanding will still be due and any balances already paid will be non-refundable and non-transferable.

• Any new orders received within 4 weeks of the event will require non-refundable and non-transferable payment in full to secure the booking.

• It is not always possible to produce an exact match with material swatches or other colour samples provided, however every effort will be made to reach an accurate representation of colour.

• Delivery and set up of the order is recommended, although collection can be arranged.

 

Novelty & Celebration Cakes:

 

• A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit equal to 50% of the total cost of the order is required to secure the booking.  No booking will be confirmed without payment of the deposit.

• The balance of payment will be due on or before collection of the order.  We only accept cash for payment on collection.  Payment via bank transfer, PayPal or cheque will be accepted only if previously arranged & payment will be required no less than 10 business days before the event.

• Any changes to the order design will incur additional costs.  No amendments can be made within 1 week from the date of the event, although we will try to accommodate all situations.

• The order cannot be cancelled within 1 week of the event date.  If the order is no longer required within this period, any payments outstanding will still be due and any balances already paid will be non-refundable and non-transferable.

• Any new orders received within 1 week of the event will require non-refundable and non-transferable payment in full to secure the booking.

• Collection of the order is preferred, although delivery can be arranged for additional cost.



General Terms & Conditions:

 

• Cakes by Ade reserve the right to make any amendments to the order if it is necessary or unavoidable.  Please note this will be in extreme situations only and every endeavour to contact the customer regarding these changes will be made prior to any alterations.

• Cakes by Ade will advise of any non edible elements to the order. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all recipients are aware of these.

• All non-dietary specific cake orders may contain ingredients that are not suitable for food allergies. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all recipients are aware of these potential risks of allergic reactions.

• Cakes by Ade reserve the right to cancel the order due to illness.  In these situations, any money previously paid will be refunded in full, however no compensation will be payable.  All endeavours will be made to find a replacement supplier, but this cannot be guaranteed.

• Cakes by Ade takes photographs of all cakes & products made on premises.  These images remain the property of Cakes by Ade and we reserve the right to use those images without prior consent from the customer.

• Delivery of the order is not included in the price unless otherwise arranged and incurs a minimum charge of $40 within a 20km radius of Koroit, Vic.  Please contact us for prices to your area.

• Orders of $600 or more and within a 20km radius of Koroit, Vic will not incur a delivery fee.

• Upon collection, we will advise the customer of the best way to transport their specific order. Cakes by Ade take no responsibility for any damage to the order once it has been collected.

• Cakes by Ade take no responsibility for any damage to the order once delivered.  The customer and/or the venue are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure environment.  Cakes should be on a sturdy table and room temperature should be controlled. Cakes should not be refrigerated unless otherwise advised.

• A signature will be required upon delivery.
