Wedding consultations are strictly by appointment only and take approx. 1 hour.  Consultations are for a maximum of 2 people only unless otherwise agreed prior to the appointment time.

 

We offer 3 complimentary cake samples for you to take home; vanilla, chocolate mud and lemon.   If you’d like to try a different flavour, we can bake you a 4” naked cake to take home at a cost of $25 each.

 

It is recommended that you have your event details planned prior to attending your consultation.  Colours, invitation, venue, flowers, the dress – all of these can influence the final design of your wedding cake.  Bring along any material swatches or other colour samples that you have that we can hold on to for colour matching.

 

Know your budget.  We can accommodate almost any budget, but we need to have an idea of what that is at the beginning of your consultation.  Bearing in mind that even the simplest design can take over 10 hours to create, costs can be reduced by your choices in the final design & decoration.

 

The size & number of servings will also have an impact on your final cake design.  How many guests will be served cake, & whether or not they will be dessert size portions, or finger size portions.

 

If you decide to have fresh flowers on your cake, they will need to be arranged by you, directly with your florist.

 

After our consultation, we will email you a quote within 3 business days. This quote will only be valid for 30 days.  If you decide to go ahead with the booking, a confirmation of cake details and our terms and conditions will be forwarded to you for acceptance.  Your booking will only be secured upon receipt of a 50% non-refundable and non-transferable deposit.

 

Wedding bookings can be made up to 18 months in advance, however it is recommended that your wedding consultation is held no more than 8 months before the wedding date.
